Termites

What & Where are they found?
A trained experienced professional inspector can identify the presence of termites without even seeing the bugs. They leave specific traces including damage and mud tubes.  When inspecting a house,  the structure should be inspected for damage and activity caused by wood destroying insects~WDI.

Wood Destroying Insects
Although we often refer to the Wood Destroying Insects Inspection as a termite there are many other insects that destroy wood & can be a threat to your home. These insects include but are not limited:

  • Termites
  • Carpenter ants
  • Carpenter bees
  • Powder post beetles

First Class Inspections can include wood destroying insect inspections with your home inspection.
